Day 1: Arrive in San Pedro Sula. Transfer to El Progreso. Meet your fellow trip participants and staff members. Evening to rest and get read for a busy week.
Day 2: Orientation of El Progreso, CeCI, and our projects. Meet the individuals with whom you will be volunteering for the duration of the week. Evening reflection.
Day 3: Starting work at project site. Volunteering all day. In the evening, a cultural activity such as dance lessons or a presentation from a local group.
Day 4: Second day of volunteering at project site. We're really getting a lot accomplished! In the evening, Honduras Movie Night.
Day 5: Excursion to San Pedro Sula for souvenir shopping in the morning in a large market and a visit to a local orphanage to volunteer in the afternoon. Reflection in the evening.
Day 6: Final day of volunteering at the project site. Be sure to work extra hard! Dinner with beneficiaries of your project in the evening.
Day 7: Excursion to the beach or to a jungle waterfall on your last day! In the evening, a dinner out at a nice restaurant.
Day 8: Time to go home! Don't worry, we'll be waiting for you to come back soon.
